TARGET AUDIENCE

This activity is intended for neurologists, headache specialists, PCPs, and other HCPs involved in managing patients with headache and migraine issues.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

After completing the CME activity, learners should be better able to:

  • Discuss the prevalence, pathophysiology, epidemiology, and burden of illness associated with migraine.
  • Describe the diagnostic approach to primary headache disorders, with an emphasis on migraine and cluster headache, including differential diagnosis from other conditions causing headache.
  • Discuss the established acute and preventive therapeutic options for patients with migraine.
  • Describe publicly available safety and efficacy findings from recent clinical trials investigating novel therapies for the management of migraine.

ABIM MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION
